ELEMENTARY K-5: STEAM MOBILE PROGRAM

Gizmos & Gadgets Kids Lab come to your school!

Our goal is to make science fun and engaging the Gizmos & Gadgets way! Instead of listening to a dry lecture, students become investigators by goggles, conducting their own experiments and making their own discoveries (with a little professional guidance, of course). Activities go way beyond pouring random chemicals into test tubes. In our after school program students can study forensics, electronics, botany and astronomy in addition to more traditional fields like biology, chemistry and physics.

Some of our past experiments and projects included learning about phosphorescence, fluorescence, atomic glow and zinc sulphate by making a glowing jar.

Another included making crash test cars (and really testing them!) and finding out how safety impacts our own lives in cars.

No matter the session all our students keep coming back for more! Not only do they love the classes but they are gaining some amazing insights and an introduction to the world of STEAM!
